As the Executive Director of HARGEI, he provides strategic direction for the organization, leading initiatives that promote sustainable development, social inclusion, education, health, environmental sustainability, and economic empowerment.
Throughout his career, Lawan Ya'u has worked closely with government institutions, development partners, civil society organizations, and community stakeholders to design and implement impactful programmes that address the needs of vulnerable populations. His expertise spans project management, policy advocacy, stakeholder engagement, capacity building, monitoring and evaluation, and resource mobilization.
