About Hargei
Health Awareness and Rural Girls Education Initiative is a non-governmental, non-partisan, non-profit, and non-political association founded in 2016. Its central guiding idea is the creation of awareness, youth mobilization, Education, Health, Gender, and empowerment for an informed humanity in health, education, environmental, and social terms.
The Health Awareness and Rural Girls Education Initiative has a seven-member board of trustees, which serves as the policy-guiding body for the Initiative, overseeing both technical and managerial aspects, as well as policy-making.

Health Awareness and Rural Girls Education Initiative was formed in 2011 and is registered in 2018, as stipulated for by the Nigerian constitution, through the mandated agencies which are in this context, the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), with registration number CAC/IT/112404
